Yep, for £1.50 you can get yourself nine bars of KitKat delicousness, all based around one of the nation's favourite cakes.
A spokesperson for Nestle told that the flavour has been developed as the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee, “taking inspiration from British coffee shop classics to put a chocolate-y spin on afternoon tea.”
It joins a growing range of KitKat flavours including milk, white, dark, mint, peanut butter, orange, cookies & cream and New York cheesecake. Currently the lemon drizzle bars are only available in Asda but there are plans to roll the chocolate bar out to other stores later in the year.
This isn't the only new chocolate bar news recently. Last week Cadbury announced the launch of a new Oreo sandwich bar, which is a piece of Dairy Milk chocolate sandwiched in between an Oreo biscuit (we're not kidding).
The lemon drizzle KitKat isn't the only exciting news. Nestlé has hinted that even bigger news is yet to come, telling us that “consumers should keep an eye out for more exciting news coming in the next few days.”
We were happy with this new flavour, so can't wait to see what else is to come…
